Remember the beautiful quilt top made out of Denyse Schmidt fabrics that Susan sent me when I mentioned how wonderful the customer service is at her quilt store. I quilted it a while ago but it has been hanging out in my sewing room, hoping to be magically bound! Today I finally trimmed it and made the binding. Took me about two hours to make the binding and sew it on front and back (both by machine). I can't wait to cuddle up under it and read!Thank you again, Susan! I LOVE this quilt!
I love those flower blocks. Are they free cut style? Very stylish.
ReplyDeleteOh yes...I was going to make one in hand dyeds!!! Thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteHave a good snuggle with your *new* quilt!
Hi Sarah, great job on getting that top to quilt form so quickly.

Hi Sarah--I want to e-mail you personally about your dyeing question but blogger won't give me your e-mail address from your comment. Will you e-mail me emily at emilyquilts dot com. Glad you saw the comment from my sister! Small world isn't it!
